Sharing the Lord's Work in Northern New York

PRAYER CHAIN AND SPIRITUAL AWARENESS GROUP"Help carry one another's burdens, and in this way you will obey the law of Christ."

The Prayer Chain is made up of members from both congregations. The dedicated members of our group are united in their belief in the power of prayer. The Prayer Chain is an alarm system which enables us to be made aware of the prayer needs in the lives of our congregations and to promptly bring these needs before God. Prayer requests are not just limited to emergencies, we honor all prayer request brought to our attention by our congregations. Any information we receive is used as a matter of prayer, not gossip, we respect condifentially.

If you have a prayer request please notify any member of the Prayer Chain of your request and the need we will be praying for.  If you do submit a prayer request, we would appreciate it if you would give us updates on the request you submitted.  This would include how and when the prayer was answered If you would like to become a member of the Prayer Chain please contact the pastor.

“Prayer, and let God worry.” Martin Luther

There will be a few changes affecting the prayer list.  Mary Krahn has graciously agreed to take over the care of the prayer list.  You may pass your prayer request to her at e-mail:  mmkrahn@twcny.rr.com or phone: 686-5357, or you may contact any member of the Prayer Circle.  As always, a list of the members of the Prayer Circle can be found posted at both churches.

When a person is placed on the prayer list, they will remain on there for two months.  After that time, unless we have been requested to keep that person on the list, their name will be removed. If a person’s name is removed from the prayer list it may be placed back on as soon as we receive a request to do so.  This change is being made in order to keep the prayer list as up to date as possible.

We hope these changes will not cause too much confusion and will be of help to both churches.  If you have any thoughts or suggestions please feel free to let us know.

Remembering you in our prayers always,

Barbara Thompson ~ Prayer Circle member
